OWL’s canon centers on realism: no supernatural elements; biology drives behavior; color and light are semantic, not decorative. The “Unseen Predator ≤ 4 s” limit from early doctrine has been replaced by the principle of earned exposure—visibility governed by diegetic light/air physics.
